Pokémon Tales: Brendan

In Vs. Silver 2, Silver chooses Dusclops to battle Ian's Wingull. It used Mean Look to prevent Wingull from escaping, and Gravity to prevent her from flying. It then began initiating a beat down, Wingull unable to dodge Shadow Punch. Wingull eventually managed to glide to attack, though it put Wingull in a perfect position to be attacked and defeated. Dusclops battled Combusken next, their Fire attacks being even. Ian baited Silver into using Shadow Punch, which was reflected with Mirror Move, allowing Combusken to defeat Dusclops with another Flamethrower.

Pokémon Tales: Dawn

In Vs. Mamoswine, Dusclops is revealed to have evolved into Dusknoir. It battles against Paul's Hitmonchan. It uses its unique mouth on its stomach to avoid an attack and fire Hyper Beam, defeating Hitmonchan. It then battles Marowak, where its Stomping Tantrum attack gets the better of Dusknoir, eventually defeating it.

Pokémon Tales: Champion

In Voice of a Songtress, Dusknoir uses its shadows from Bind to obscure a stage so Ian could sneak Dorothea off of it. It later battled Mad Magmar's Magmortar, defeating it easily.
