These games takes place 3 years after the metal trio (Gold, Silver, and Crystal). A young boy/young girl (whichever you choose and name) in Sulfur Town decides to follow in the footsteps of his/her hero, the champion Red. Little does he/she know, he/she will also play a part in thwarting the reborn Team Rocket...

You can battle Sinnoh's best after you obtain all badges and defeat Red (yes, even Cynthia can be battled, though it will take some work to find her).
The Kami Trio's Improved Role[]
The Kami Trio from Black and White (Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus) play an improved role: Giovanni will use them to attempt world domination like in the BW tv series; Jessie will use Tornadus, James will use Thundurus, and Giovanni will use Landorus.
Gray Kyurem's Debut[]
Gray Kyurem, the offspring of the Tao trio, will play a role in the main story.
Paleozoic Isle:[]
A special event area, you can find prehistoric pokemon inhabiting it: even the evolved forms lurk in the grass or mountain. If you search there long enough, you can try to catch Genesect.
