In Vs. Golduck, Cobalt chose Pidgeot to assist in keeping his opponents from rescuing their Pokémon. It used Twister, allowing Elise to gain confidence and choose Clefairy, which was immune to it. Clefairy battled Pidgeot, and dealt a few weak blows to it. When Pidgeot actually went on the offensive, it was caught by a Bite attack from Misty's Gyarados. After Cobalt's Golduck was defeated, Pidgeot was used to help Cobalt escape.

Pokémon Tales: Rainbow Rocket

In Vs. Mega Mewtwo, Pidgeot battled and instantly defeated Ian's Infernape. It battled Sandslash next, able to counter its Sandstorm with Hurricane. It lands several strong hits but is defeated.
